Senior Software Engineer (m/f/d) .Net

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will become part of an agile product team and actively contribute to the further development of an established .NET system—with a particular focus on innovative product enhancements and seamless integration with other myneva products. Your contribution will be crucial to advancing our product’s functionality and continuously strengthening connectivity across the myneva product landscape.

Your responsibilities in detail:

• Develop and enhance APIs for integration with other myneva products
• Design and implement new, innovative product features in close collaboration with Product Management and the Consulting team
• Further develop an existing .NET product, with a focus on the backend and a web application featuring a JavaScript frontend (ExtJS)
• Gradually replace legacy code with modern architectures and components
• Ensure code quality through code reviews, pair programming, and testing, including unit tests, integration tests, and SpecFlow
• Work closely with Support, Customer, and other product teams to implement new integration scenarios
• Help shape and continuously improve our DevOps processes
• Work iteratively in an agile, collaborative team with an open feedback culture

Technologies: C#, .NET Framework 4.8, .NET 6/8, JavaScript (ExtJS), Microsoft SQL Server, Docker

• At least five years of professional experience in software development, ideally with a focus on C#/.NET
• Experience working with mature codebases and complex systems
• Excellent knowledge of clean code principles and extensive experience with refactoring and testing methodologies
• Good SQL skills
• Experience in developing and integrating APIs, ideally within interconnected product ecosystems
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks, ideally ExtJS, is an advantage
• Experience in the use of AI—for example, AI-assisted development tools or AI features within products—is an advantage
• An interest in DevOps and the automation of build and deployment processes
• A strong team spirit, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to share knowledge
• Excellent German language skills at C2 level and English language skills at C1 level
